Mulching plate fabrication

I have a scag 32" w/b, nice for leaves in gated yards, but it blows the darn leaves all over the place. Is a mulching plate easy to fabricate myself or is it easier to just buy one? If so where could i purchase one? Thnaks

I bought one for my Scag through my dealer. Mine was for the 48" deck but I'm sure they make one for yours. I think the one I have will work on 2 or 3 of their decks. Check with the dealer.

I don`t know about scag mowers, but with my turf tracer, I tried a peice of metal to cover the discharge chute and if you don`t have something to enclose each blade all the clippings go to discharge blade and it left a pile of leaves along where the chute is located. I bought a mulching kit for my mower and it works great.
