Just curious to see how many people wear a uniform while working, and what kind of appearance you have?
Just looking to see how everyone sees the importance of appearance.
This year, we got some t-shirts with some sayings on them, and of course our logo, and curious to see if we get any feedback on them.

I will put a picture up as soon as I can.

Let's see 'em!

Wells

Eric,

Take your logo a paste it into the picture, then scale, rotate, and change the perspective of your logo and save the picture back out, that's about it.

What program are you using?

That's the easy way Wells!
last year at a local town fair, a mortgage company had women all around wearing those types of outfits walking around, and I tell you, EVERYONE was looking and asking what company that was:eek: . You may have stumbled onto a new marketing tip come this March. Have these ladies passing out your flyers, and people may just follow them home to you!!!

Hey, believe it or not, the second guy from the left, I think Tony Soprano, actually went to CVU, a high school just about 10 minutes from here. Also where my father went. Once in a while you find a famous Vermonter out there.

Any of you guys tried the iron on kits from office max, wal mart, etc.

Just wondering if that might be a viable solution for cheap work shirts

Yeah...that would look professional. C'mon.

the iron on wash off in like only 2 washes not worth the paper they are printed on.

I'm sorry Mr. Edwards if my question wasn't up to par with your obvious level of expertise in this subject. Not all of us are the multi-million dollar a year operations. Some, like me, are just tryig to feed the family and keep the house.

Do you notice how the post under yours sates an opinion without the sarcasm? People log onto this board for help and advice, not for sarcasm and smart a**es.

the whole reason I even mentioned it was because it was a suggestion I received on this board and I wanted more input.

This is just another fine example of why so many people post on other boards.

Hey Grassblaster,
You can get some shirts made real cheap, as I had made. I paid about $8 a shirt for two colors on front and back, which is cheaper than a t-shirt at any local store.
Ebay has some good vendors with stores set up that compete for you business, and can get a good deal there to get some shirts.
Well worth the small $50 I made in my opinion to look a lot more professional this year.
I would stay away from the iron on stuff too, especially with how cheap you can get them made.
Good luck.

I buy Pluma T-Shirt's from Sam's Club for about $4, they are cotton and come in a bunch of different colors (orange, yellow, dk blue, lgt blue, and 2 shades of green) and have the embrodery done for about $10 a shirt. They seem to be really well made T-Shirts.

$6 a shirt including the embroidery.. Gildan Heavyweight Ultra Blend t-shirts..

Probably about what you'll spend on iron-on stuff.. but these last for a long time!

Thanks Lux,

I can say I'm proud of them, I did a job for the people who own a T-Shirts Plus here so we made a little deal. They paid for the shirts and cut me a check for the rest they owed me worked out well. I found a Cinch Jeans hat that looks like a green and yellow John Deere hat, bought 2, one for me and one for my employee the hat and shirt looks good together.

Here's what our shirts look like. It the first ones that we had printed. Nothing on the front. We'll probably get the same thing on the front just smaller over the left chest.

Same place we buy all our t shirts as well. Our sign printer prints our shirts for us for $ 4.50 each, less than 9.00 a shirt..We get new ones each year, and use the old ones for shop rags and mower washers!
