I am looking at Turf Tracer HP that has the 48” deck, but it has a 15hp Kawasaki. Is 15hp enough for the mower? This will not be used commercially, only for a homeowner’s lawn.

Thanks,
Pete

You should be o.k....I used a 48" Kees belt drive wb with a sulky with a 15hp Kawasaki for 2 years and never had any power problems...but I used it on lawns that we're cut every week, not anything over-grown...I recently purchased a 48" Exmark wb, same engine, with hydro motors...I'll put it to the test this summer and I'll see how it goes......

I have 15hp on two Toro 52in I bought at the end of last season. I don't have more them about 25 hours on each of them, but I haven't heard any of the guys complaining that they aren't powerful enough, nor have I experienced anything about them not being powerful enough.
