I am still looking at mowers. I might be able to get a Bad Boy 2003 model 6000 which has a 27 hp Kaw. with 60 in. cut mower for under $6,500.00. Less than 50 hrs. on it. Good deal?

I started looking into Bad Boy, but I found the closest dealer was in Arkansas. Before buying, you may want to check to see how far the nearest dealer is located to your place of business and then check on the quality of support. The one dealer they had in my town stopped handling this brand. Hope this helps.

I sent an e-mail to Bad Boy last night about customer/dealer support in my area. Got an answer this morning, it basically said they did not know if I had a dealer in my area or not, call a 800 number and talk to a sales rep. to see if there is one.....I know more about their dealer network here than they do I guess, there is one within 60 miles. I will call him tomorrow I think, might even go see him.

I went and saw local dealer ( 60 miles each way). He offered me a Bad Boy 6000 AOS mower which he was using as a demo unit for $7,000.00. It had a broken hour meter on it, he said it probably had twelve hours on it. Looked more like 1200 to me. He was not even sure what year model it was. I asked him when he would have a new unit in and he told me he was not going to stock them anymore as there was not a market in this area.

I also called area distributor and was told no other dealers were in this area at all and any warranty work would have to be done at a registered dealer. I was about to bid on one on e-bay that really looked like a great deal. Oh well, I continue looking at mowers....

Picked up one today from the Bad Boy Factory, they are fast, built extremely well, great price, I am more than happy with the purchase and will buy more this year, Buy one you'll be glad you did. Call Bad Boy Mowers and ask for Kevin he will do you right.

Wow, great deal, I would buy one at that price in a heartbeat if I had dealer service in my area.

I looked at them pretty close at the Jonesboro Outdoor Hunting show 3 weeks ago. I liked what I saw but it seemed as if the seat sat a bit higher than most. Does this bother you? They say they hold hills pretty good so I was just wonder.

I would buy one too but there isn't a dealer here in memphis. Did they offer a overnight parts plan or anything? Most of the work can be done by the owner but if you pay for a 2 year warranty how do you excersize it without a dealer?

It dont seem to sit any higher than my Toro Z Master, it will be a few weeks before I can put it to use to see how I really like it, I will post what I think after the first day cutting with it.

Yes that was me, I am interested in getting a set, can you send me a price for this mower, I have other mowers as well and if they work as expected with the Bad Boy I will order more.

Thanks Tim

A set of blades for the 60" bad boy would be $ 194.85 that include shipping.
