I have quickbooks 99.....seems to do what i want.....should i spend the money to get 04" edition or keep using what I have been using?
i would use what you have IF its fine for you
But if you use it for payroll you SHOULD upgrade it
but if yo udont use it for payroll i wouldnt worry about it as theirs an upgrade EVERY year...and mostly everything stays the same..(except tax/payroll) (im using QBpro 2002 multi user currently)
hope this helps

Hi dmk395,
I would ask what you are specifically looking to gain from your upgrade. If you are going to benefit from it, then do it.

I dont know that I will gain anything, thats why I asked originally. I have a company do my payroll already, just wondering if there were any major changes that may help me.

Kinda interested in the same thing. I have QB99 as well.
Also, what's the main benefit of having Pro vs Regular QB? I don't do time tracking, and use it on one computer. So many people use the pro, kind of wondering why?
