Got myself an Exmark Lazer HP!

I went with the 48 inch Lazer HP and the 20 hp Kohler, this thing scoots! Couldnt wait so I went out this afternoon and mowed my 3 acre field. I did jump the belt off of the right side though, I engaged the blades at full speed, is this what caused that? I know it says to engage them at 1/2 but I wasnt thinking.

Love that gas gauge and 11 gallon tanks capacity! I never knew these things could cut high grass so good. Now I know why everyone raves about these mowers!

The belt jumping could have something to do with the full rpm engagement. A new belt is pretty "grippy" which can create a lot of stress and energy transfer when engaging at full rpm. I would however be certain to re-grease the deck idler pivot that tensions the deck belt.

It's unlikely that it will happen again but if it does I'd recommend getting it in for inspection asap. We want to make sure your getting the best we have to offer.
