I dont know, I likemy 20HP OHV Liquid Cooled just fine though. I dont think there was ever a problem with it, except the one time the radiator got clogged up due to hard water deposits, but thats not even the "engine" really.

Kawasaki are my choice. Make more torque.

Ditto. I sure hope no one chooses other and says "Tecumseh". Man, them things deserve the name "Tecrapsy". My power washer has one, and my grandfathers tiller too. They have such a jerk-back on the starter rope! I've almost yanked my hand off so many times trying to start them things.

I voted for Kawasaki for large engine but I feel Honda is the best by far in the small engine catagory

I won't agree. I think the very small hondas are awesome, but when they get from 13hp and up I think they are not that great.

hey odin, how does well over 5000 hours sound? almost 6000 acatually. this engine has never had a gasket or seal replaced, doesn't smoke, leak oil, knock or whatever. i personally think honda is gonna throw some serious competition into the a/c engine line up. ive seen alot of pressure cleaners run wide open all day long in high humid conditions, bad air cleaners, black oil, and the 'ol honda keeps on cluckin. i look forward to buying one in the future.

For longevity, torque and low fuel consumption you absolutely cannot beat a Kubota diesel.

I guess my post was not clear enough.
I voted for Kawasaki for large engine (>12.5 hp) but I feel Honda is the best by far in the small engine (<6hp) catagory

Overall I would say Kohler. I currently have 3 of them and been very satisfied. Small engines, I prefer Honda.
