I had a meeting with a bulk mail service today to look over a demo postcard that I want them to mail out to residential homes within certain zip code areas. I was wondering what you all thought of the rates.

Printing of 15,000 postcards (by another company) = $331.00 +tax

Bulk mail rate at .13 cents a piece $1950.00

Service "labor costs" $610.00

Total to mail 15,000 postcards =2891.00

I said I'd have to think it over.

Any thoughts?

Purchased imprint for $150.00 and annual fee another $150.00. postage is .12 cents comes out to $1800. Since iam saturating select postal routes I can use 'Postal Patron' instead of addresses. Total bill=$2611

The printing cost looks good.

I do consulting work for a mail house here in New Hampshire. Your pricing quote for Services Labor is high. This company would charge you around $400 for services. Your postage for a saturation list is about right (13 cents +/- ).

BTW, no sales tax here in NH on the printing and I am not trying to solicit business in case someone is offended.
