Same Business Name

I have seen another lawn care business with the same name as mine. However it is in another state. Should this be a concern to me? I have never done a search on my business name but I do have it registered in the three counties which I do business. Since this is a service industry I would think there is a great chance that many names are duplicted such as plumbers and electricians. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

What's the name?

Unless you plan to go national, I wouldn't worry about it. In Michigan registering as a corp, inc, or llc registers your name throughout the state and offers more protection than local county registration. Maybe look into that in NC. I'd be mostly worried about local competition.
