Does anyone have an Exmark Metro?, I'm thinking of maybe buying one. If so how do you like them? And does anyone have any accesories on them?

Thanks, Dave

I bought one new in April of 2002. I've used it for 2 solid years, I have the 32" with 15 HP Kawi. It has performed flawlessly for me. If you do a search for Metro, you'll find other threads on the same topic.

I picked the 32" cause I do lots of small yards that have gates and it fits into the back yards with no problem. 36"s might not fit depending upon the property you are doing.. And using a 21 is just silly if you can use a 32..

I use the mulch kit on the Metro and it works out very very well also. I have to double cut if the lawn gets too long in the spring, but overall, it's terrific.

What is the pricing on the 36"? Isn't it around $2,400?

I have two exmark 36 & 48 walkbehinds with velkes on both. Purchased them both brand new last year. I absolutely love them. They cut and stripe beautifully. I did use the mulching kit, but probably won't this year.

Great little mowers. Very little operating expense and profitable machines.

we got one last year for the fenced in areas, tired of having to buy a push mower every season, and work so hard for it. We got the belt drive, since we only use it 5 hours at the most each week. If it was needed full-time I would definetly get a hydro.

I have a 32" metro with a 12.5 kawasaki, and it has been a great machine. I have never had any problems with it. I used to have a sulky for it, but i took it off because the beltdrives don't have reverse.
