Wanted to Know if this bid sounds close to accurate.

7500 Sq Ft. 4" Top soil to be added to rough grade lot. $1800
6900 Sq Ft. Sod to be put in $1850
600 Sq Ft. Mulch to be put in $70
Skid steer 3.5 days Total: $700
Power Rake 1 day: $200
Trencher 1 day: $200
Sprinkler System Installed: $1350

Total of: $6150.00

Does this number sound good for materials and equipment?

My Partner and I will be working on this for an estimated 5 days. Any opinions for labor rates?

is this your final bid? otherwise I dont see the point in doing the job........is this number for expense only?

if you and partner are working alone then labor should be around $3,000-$5,000

Yes these are the numbers for the expenses only. And I was planning on putting in $3000.00 for labor. Otherwise you are right. The job will deffinatly not be worth it. Thanks for the reply.

I think you left out:

Fuel Costs
Insurance costs (G/L, Worker's Comp, Business Auto)
Misc. stuff that you will need/might break during the course of the job.

My opinion-- the job is gonna cost you over $6000 and you only wanna add $3000 for you AND your partner?? Sounds way low to me, unless its a company you're REALLY trying to get your foot in the door with for some serious future revenue.

I would have to agree, $3000 does seem to low for all of the items that you will be doing above
