Need more info on what you mean by box it.
I charge 25.00 per 1000 for renovation. I use a Befco Power seeder. No need for a power rake.
Will be glad to help you answer your question just need more info.

$4138.20 would be my number. Although, if a customer planed to spend the money to do this correctly I wouldn't take the job this spring. I would insist they hold off until fall.

Is this a new lawn instal or is there a current lawn there that you are ripping up? If it's a new install 2500.oo should be in the ball park.

thanks for the info guys.
the property is very old and the past owners neglected to keep it up so when the present owner bought the place he had numerous trees and stumps removed fro the property. i understand that fall in tennessee is a much better planting season, but i also have the maintenance agreement for the propery and he really wants it to look better. there is some grass, but it is very sparse.
any recomendations to a different approach

Well, what part of TN? Is it full sun or shady? What is the irrigation situation?
