We leave the yard at 7am and are usually cutting by 7:05am or so mon thru fri. ,sat 8am. only had one complaint from neighbor of our customer in many years.

We usually leave at 8:00, mowing around 8:10. Everyone comes in around 7:45 checks their equipment, gets schedules, & loads. Often times there is a lot of dew on the ground, which is the reason for starting a little later.

Majority of my clients dont like clippings so to disperse them I have to wait to the grass is dry!

I would say usually around 9 am or so...gives customers a little extra time to sleep!

Start at 9 am go to dennys and eat a good breakfast, drink 3 cups of coffee , get to first job by 11 or so , break for lunch at 12 , realize its too nice of a day to work , grab the fishing rod enjoy the sunshine . And then.................................the alarm goes off at 6 30 am , and the dream is over.

I like to start early to but have to stay out of the city limits.

There are noise restrictions in my area no machinery before 7:30AM in the city.

Do you other guys not have this problem? I see that many of you start early. Are you working in cities without any problems that early?

Had a nice note left by a neighbor one morning.l0l

Sure, in a perfect world we would all have the crews running 24/7...in Alaska.

This business is very weather dependent. Just because I have grass to cut or a wall to install does not mean that I am going to trash a property just to get the job done. I see alot of companies doing that... and not getting asked back next year.

Do it when the time is right. On a perfect day, we are mowing by 9:00. On a installation day, if it has not rained and we have materials on site we are there by 8:00..on site and working.

But then in the summer we are there as early as we can get there, or when the sun rises...
