I have rust over several of my sites, I know where it came from, does anyone have any practical solutions to this problem this time of year( N>Y> metro area)?

Usually a dose of Nitrogen knocks it out.`

Rust was real bad this year in NY,I had it ofr the first time in 11yrs that i have been keeping track of it.You should be fertilizing now anyway,so this will wipe it out.Use a quick release high in N.
Check out this recent thread from the pesticide forum.

I just took a trip to TN from IN and I noticed that the rust is everywhere, All my yards around here have it and it's also in KY and TN. Must be it's year to shine.

http://www.rootsinc.com/applications/T_Fe8.pdf be very careful of N in the fall it can take energy away from the roots of the plant if you over apply. Note the lack thereof, wash your mower.

Well, since RUST seems to be so wide spread this year, I'll bet Tru-Green/ChemLawn will be trying to get customers to sign up for an expensive fungicide treatment this next year to prevent it from coming back!
work: 2 weeks ago i posted the same problem,i hit my lawns with 33-3-4 25% scu and it took it out in about 3 weeks.
