Hello, I picked up a new 8' by 4' today. This trailer has the Gas Can Holders which is a Great Feature but it also has this Stupid Broom holder thing on the front that has enough holes for 10 no top handle tools. I cut a couple holes wider to accomidate the top handle on Snow Shovels but w/the height of this thing Pulling them in & out of the Slots is a serious PITA.

Does anyone actually use this add-on productively? The front brackets actually cut into the limited 8' space so it's likely I'll be Ripping it out.

It looks like you have to lift the things the full length of the handle to get them out! Yes, I would say that is a bit extreme.

I would say if Shaq were to mow, he could use it...other than him, not many people could reach that high from outside the trailer when hitched.Lose it......or get some drywall stilits..LOL!!<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/15/15_1_132v.gif' border=0></a>

Cut it shorter and it would probally work fine.

Do you actually pull this trailer around in the snow?

Why would you want to put snow shovels on there in the first place? Just curious......

You could try an lower both about a foot an a half. Shouldn't be alot of trouble, Then you wont have to get on your tip toes to pull out the hand tools......

Will be ripping it out...even lowered it will be a PITA to pull out tools.. The rack is way overbuilt & not built for convenience.

Yes, I run a couple blower trailers for subdivion routes.

FAREWAY - I don't mean to be a PITA but rethink your 'gate lift' system... From what is visible you are asking for a serious injury when that spring decides to break.
