Great looking rig...I hope it makes you a lot of moneypayup payup

Just out of curiosity, how much do you plan to charge per yard for hardwood mulch on a 20 cu. yd. job (you don't have to answer if you don't want:) )?

03-11-2004, 09:49 PM
Holy @#$! Yikes! ;)

do you need an a or b lic. to drive that?. seeing that it has air brakes. also watch out for d.o.t. with that rig your probably going to spend some time for inspection.

Nice set up thier we have a dozen or so running arourd here in ohio I was wondering who built the truck for u I know INDY EQUIP builds the ones around here good idea are the common buy you.

You would think that something that big would have more room for more workers. Looks good.

You don't need to many workers with this truck. We use three per truck sometimes only two. The truck is made by express blower you can check them out at expressblower.com they are not too comon in my area. There are two competitors in my area but there is enfough work for all of them.

Good one LB! It holds 60 yards of mulch the yardage varies with other materials because of wight reasons.

Thanks everyone!!! Yeah I love tooling around town in it.....

I noticed that you opted to not get the seed injection option (unless they have started to put the hopper in a different place). Do you plan on marketing the TerraSeeding also? BTW - very nice graphics on your machine. Looking back, I wished I had done the graphics on the rear door also.

The truck was ordered by my partner in grand rapids and it was saposed to get the SI unit but they did not install it. They are going to come in and install it in a few weeks. Big pain in the butt. For now we are just using one of our other trucks to do the terraseeding because our 3 other trucks have the SI unit. You should have local graphics company put some graphics on the back. I think they are key, because in traffic most people are seeing the back of your truck and when it is parked. My opinion the more graphics the better, I even have graphics on the windflar. I will try and get a pick of that up. We are still waiting for the weather to clear so we can start working, we are saposed to get 3" of snow tonight... WHEN WILL IT EVER STOP! Thanks for the complaments ont the truck too! You should post some more pics of your truck. I saw a few on your site, nice site by the way, but i would like to see a few more. I just love these trucks the look so nice compared to all the other blower trucks!!!!

Groundcover Solutions
03-26-2004, 12:16 PM
Yes we subcontract... Acctually that is pretty much the only way we work. Yes ann arbor is no problem.

Also I passed my CDL road test today!!!!!!!!!! Oh man is that a waight off of my sholders!!!!!!!!

03-30-2004, 11:42 PM
Hey, I passed my CDL A with air brakes road test not to long ago. So I know how you feel by getting that load off your sholders. BTW, I remember about a year ago you came on this site and you told everyone that you wanted to by this mulch blower truck. Everyone thought you were full of it and that you could never afford that truck like that. Nice to see someone that actually follows through on what they say. Congrats on the new truck. Damm... that truck it so nice I would even take a girl out on a date in it. haha.....
