Has anyone used one of those JRCO dethatchers? They look like a good way to go for thatch removal. You can run it and clean it up at the same time with the mower, from the way it looks. My question is how well does it really work? Stuff that is priced reasonably, and actually helps you out I have found is a rarity

For heavy thatch built of over a number of years a powerrake is still needed.
My tine rake gets a lot of use on the sports fields.
I use mine twice a year on residentials
first in march then again in august.

I bought one for my Walker and thought it could be better. I think that the power rake is much better. If you want to pick up leaves and debri in the lawn then it will do the job.
Chris
