Help on ANNUALS!!!!!!

I have 607 Sq.ft of beds I want to plant vinca and lantana in. How many 4" plants will i need? Does anyone have a formula? I also have 280 Sq. ft of beds I want to do wave petunias in. Is this going to be figured differently? Thanks!

If you want to plant 4" apart , you will need 9 plants per square foot. If you plant 5" apart , you will need about 6 plants per square foot. If you plant 6" apart , you will need 4 plants per square foot. If you plant 8" , you will need 2.3 plants per square foot
