Landscape Supply in Waco TX has the eb7001 for $435.00 and they will ship for free.

Thanks that seems like a great price!

Well worth every penny. We have 3 redmax blowers we use everyday, some are like 5-6 seasons old, very durable.

Yup, first season with my Redmax and have no complaints here. Check out the internet. I found mine for 425.00 shipping free from AL and I am up here in The NW but that was during the Holidays. Here in the NW the price is 499.00 on sale and the dealers here can't keep them in stock.

Funny I was about to post the same question! I seem to remember this post last fall and somebody had one on a site for $380. Anybody remember where?

Yeah I was wondering if any of you still had the contact information for these places you bought the blowers from.

I just got mine from them. Bought it when they were $435, but still a good deal I think.

Just bought a new eb7000 after my last one finally quit (after 6 seasons) excelent machines. Including tax it was $415

i love the redmax, and own several of them, just can't wait to see who in the future can make a more powerful machine

Funny, I thought they were only making 7001's now. Dealer cost for them (at 50 units ordered) is around $359. Many still retail at close to $489. Redmax has a program where if you purchase 15 units (I think) and do work for a church group (or other tax free institution), you get a great price break. You can mix & match any of their units including trimmers, stick edgers, hedge shears, blowers, etc.. Just something to consider.

Landscape Supply is the place to buy them from. They just opened up here in Waco and the service and customer service is EXCELLENT! I bought a Z500 from him last week and luckily won a Redmax trimmer for their open house.

So, is the 7001 the baddest of the bad??

03-20-2004, 03:11 PM
Yes, tell us everybody who owns a redmax.

I was thinking about getting a Shindaiwa eb630 or the redmax 7001?

What is better? mower powerful? less gas consumption?

03-20-2004, 05:00 PM
Both have the engine by Komatsu zenoah. K/Z makes all remax's engines. I think its a personal preference and dealer issue. Some like the flex wand on the shin. Some like the standard left throttle on the 7001's (like me) and others like the throttle on the right (wand side).

i hear5d they r gettin rid of the flex throttle.

I just went from a handheld echo pb230ln to the shind eb630 and love it. I would never have finished this big leaf cleanup with out it. At 19.5 lbs, the weight is a big plus.
