What is a good mowing height on a lazer z ?
And how accurate is the inch increments on the height adjustment?

most lazers are very accurate but they had to be set up at the dealer first. most time this dont happen look in you'r owners manual and there is a set up chart to do it by
around here when the mowers come in for service the pin is set at 3"
have a good season john

Best cut on the ultracut is 2.5 to 3.5. it all depends on how lush the lawn is.

As far as the "accuracy" of the height increments to the actual height, no, they are not accurate, but that is totally irrelevent. You just use that as a reference scale. You always want to measure the front tip of you blade, and compare it to the setting on the mower. This way, you will know where you are at, like if you have to set your deck like 1/4 or 1/2 inch above what the actual setting is. There is no way tyhat this can be accurate, because even if it IS set at the dealer, the chains quickly stretch as they break in.
