I have a Redmax 7001 and couldn't be more pleased. A freaking hurricane strapped to your back.

i have 2 echo handheld blowers, have used many echo backpack blowers, and have used redmax hand helds. with that said if going with backpack my personaly preferance is echo, if going with hand held i would go with redmax, however i do feel that for the most part all the major commercial blower manufactures have good products.

I have found Echo backpack blowers to be very dependable. I have an old pb6000 that is about 10 years old and new recoil was all I ever did to it it all that time. It is not a strong as my newer pb601 but it start 1st pull everytime.

echo 650 and redmax 7001 are pretty much the same. both the best. i think redmax is just a hair faster or something.

I just sold my Echo 650 and bought a Redmax 7001 I cann't tell much differance other than the Redmax seems to have less vibration and also has the vents that blow on your back. As far as one blowing harder than the other I can not tell a differance.

Is it exhaust vents blowing on your back? Like does it make ya smell? Or is it for cooling purposes?
