View Full Version : sappranos, gave me a great idea

anyone see the sappranos last night? well, what happens is, the mob guy tells the lawn guy he must pay him 2% of his income, as "protection" to maintain the right to work in his area. so of course, got me thinking......i see so many unlicensed guys applying pesticides, i could drop a dime on them in a minute, but it may be profitable, if i just tell them they have to pay me xx amount per month, to keep quiet. what do u think? another great idea, isn't it?

Don't forget to carry a shovel with you.Not everyone has one on hand for getting whacked upside the head with.

i always got a shovel, and a bat, in my truck, and in the truck of the car

See,that's where you're going wrong. You gotta have a Cadillac to pull up in so you can throw the 21" walk behind in the trunk.Best to wait till one of the guys in the tree and the other is holding his safety rope.
:) I was waiting on the phone calls last night when I saw that one.

I wonder what Toro got out of the deal?

i felt sooo bad for mr. vitro last night. oucha. he shoulda weed wacked the old man. ps looked like a commercial lawnboy mower which is in the 700$ range give or take...

Made me feel glad I don't do any treework

Just make sure none of those guys you try to intimidate is Tony or any of his relatives. The tables could turn real fast!

Hmmm...hush money from the competition? What a thought! That sounds like a good idea to try on the illegals and rednecks here in the sunshine state.
I couldn't go through with it though. With my luck, the first guy I tried to blackmail for a payoff would be related to the town Sheriff.

If I ever see Paulie walking up to me while I'm cutting, you can bet that I'll be running like a girl.

That's a good idea. The only problem is if you take 2% of a scrubs income, that leaves you to claim about $10.

It also seemed to me that the blades were spinning way to slow on that Toro. What do you think?
I'm so glad the Soprano's are back.

I wish they had researched the role a bit better the lawn crew had no trailer used 21-inch mowers. And the part I loved was guys been at it 26 years and heís the one on a weed wacker not his helper. Where it got real bad was he was starting his trimmer at the same time the other guy was starting his blower what the hell was he going to blow if the place wasnít trimmed yet. Not to mention both actors had no clue what they were doing you would figure it would be written a little better then that. Both should have been on trimmers and I know one thing if I saw my boss being beaten up that old guy would have lost his face to the weed wacker. Landscapers are a lot tougher then they made us out to be it was embarrassing. Bst was when the kid was using the 36 inch mower at the end I guess cutting a streight line wasn't taught in acting school.
