What phrases have you put on your enclosed trailers/trucks to draw business. Im trying to come up with something unique for the rear gate of the trailer(hoping to catch attention of anyone behind me in traffic).

Just use your logo. As long as people see the logo, you are winning the battle with free ad time.

Yesterday I thought of a funny one. I guess someone else probably thought of it at one time or another too;

"Kickin' grass and takin' names"

twins_lawn_care

How about,
"Honk if you love grass!"

then they'll pull up to see you're a lawn care outfit and smile

How about on the back of a trailer "Get off my a$$, go around me but don't pull in front of me to turn and expect I can stop"

If it's going on the vack of a trailer, I like the "Follow me to a beautiful lawn" slogan.

Guys help the the guy out, and stop with the childish slogans.

Here's one :

" We turn ordinary Lawns into something Extraordinary" or this

" Making your Dream Yard a Reality "

jamie, have you not been on here long enough to konw we all like to have fun some time?

I like Runner's slogan. How about, "We're beautifying your community- one lawn, one landscape at a time." You could altar the words a bit to say something different, yet send the same message.

Incidentally, who WAS that that had that "follow me" slogan on their trailer? We were just talking about it not too long ago.

Here. I just came up with this thread. http://www.lawnsite.com/showthread.php?threadid=59238&highlight=Follow+AND+ME+AND+TO+AND+A+AND+beautiful+AND+lawn

Doster,

Pardon me, I did'nt know there was a rule about be here long enough to just ask for some consideration. The person posting the question is new, so explain to me how you know when something is in fun or ball bustn. I'm all for fun, but I don't like it when someone is asking for help and these threads turn into one big joke after another. My 2 cents anyway

So far...not bad......Im really looking for something that will make the person behind you ponder while sitting in traffiic. Something catchy enough to make these folks consider another landscape provider(me) in the short period of time they are behind my truck. Something like dangling a carrot in front of their windsheild(so to speak). Need to come up with something soon....have a new enclosed trailer coming in. I will post the end results when its lettered up. Keep um coming!!! thankx!

On our vac truck, we have "WE SUCK" painted on the back of the leaf box. People loved it. Other than that, I tried the slogan thing and other catchy phrases, but I keep the humor mostly for the newspaper ads. It makes them standout. Good luck.

Ever see those cube vans that have pics imposed on the roll up door...of the co. employees kneeling down in the back of the truck...I think its Office Depot that does that. That might be a nice idea. Have the trailer loaded with equipment and my employees postitioned in back of rig looking out towards traffic. Wonder where you could get something like that done?!

I am going to get this made up to put on the back of my trailer. "If you want something done right do it yourself, but when you can't call us." Or "If you want something done right do it yourself, but when you don't have the time call us." or "We are working hard not hardly working" Also "If this trailer isn't being towed by a red F-150 its stolen"

Right now i have "We support Mt. Airy Volunteer Fire Company" The truck has fire dept tags. Makes the cops leave you alone.

My company name is... UneedA Lawn Service
Slogan : If you need a lawn service... then... UneedA Lawn Service
It works prtty well. When the phone rings and we answer Uneeda Lawn Service, We usually get a laugh and then hear "Well yes I do" or my favorite, "You bet your a$$ I do!". When choosing a slogan or a company name always find something that makes people notice you. Try to be clever but not cutesy or overbearing. And definitely try to make sure that it's not offensive to any potential clients.
So after all my babbling how's this :
Put your company name and phone number on the back and then right below it....
"Cause your life just got easier"
or
"We help you to make time for the important things life"
Hope this helps to get the ideas flowing.
Happy mowing,
CHAINSAW

this is teh first time I have read this thread so please forgive me for the delayed reaction but...

lol @ bobby - GRASS....... we don't only smoke it, we cut it too.

That could almost work as an advertisement!

I like this one: "We are working hard not hardly working"
"If this trailer isn't being towed by a red F-150 its stolen" <- that's great, I like that one also!

Bobby's and the F-150 phrases I would remember!

I also like lawn perfections: "Don't settle for less get the Perfectonist"

Some real fantastic phrases here. I like humorous, humorous I remember and I'll remember your company over one with a slogan like "a Cut Above the Rest"

Last Xmas I had some stubbie/beer coolers printed by a friend. I only gave them out to other friends and the more........ understanding  customers.

They read......

"I'll mow your lawn but, I wont cut your grass" ....... (this may be an Aussie thing but it means I wont rip them off or sleep with there wife/girlfriend! and

"Sit on your a$$, while I cut your grass" ....... pretty self explanatory!
