New ones are not that much. You may be suprised. Cheaper than a P/U, trailer combo.

bryand28,
if you're still looking for the Isuzu, I found one on the web.
It's a 99 open bed. In Tampa Fla

New ones are not that much. You may be suprised. Cheaper than a P/U, trailer combo.Have you priced a new one recently?

A new Isuzu/Ford/International cabover, with a GWVR of ~19k will run around $35k. For the CHASSIS!:) You still need to put a bed on it.

We've been looking at trucks for a month or so now, and have probably decided on a new F550 instead of a cabover. The cabover's just don't have a good enough GCWR for what we want to do.

The body/bed we want to put on the chassis will run ~$11-12k too, so that gets you up to ~$45-46k- you can buy a heckuva truck and trailer for that!

you can always do what I did last year and buy the cabover and have a dump and go landscape body put on it.I have several pictures of it posted on the pictures forum.I would never go back to running trailer after having this setup.

Try this:

http://www.jumboauto.com

They're in Hollywood, FL, about 10 minutes from the Ft. Lauderdale airport. I went down last month and picked up a '96 International LoPro with 80K. I put a 12' flatbed on it. I'm guessing that I paid a third of what I would have paid new. You can't tell it from new when you look at it. Good excuse to get out of town for a couple of days, too. After three and a half feet of snow I was ready for some relief.
