what is the difference between the hp and the z and also the advantages of one over the other. one dealer advised me to buy the hp for my commercial buisness because of simplicity.

I've always wondered, does HP stand for anything? I know it's used on the small frame ZTR's, but the metro hp wb denotes a floating deck metro. Why HP?

hp means high performance- or high profits;)

Bruce,

"The green Jeans Man" is right on. The HP was originally used for High Performance, High Productivity and High Profitability............but then again these are charectoristics of all our products. We just used the HP to signify a difference between the model families.
