High Wheel Mowers

Maybe this is a stupid question....just wondering what the advantages are to having a high wheel push mower. I have used one once and it seemed harder to push up an incline than a standard push mower with standard wheels.

I found a high wheel mower much easier to use on a rough lawn. Our "yard" was so rough initially that even at the highest setting it would occationally scalp due to ruts. Pushing a typical small wheel mower around our yard was a lot more work than the high wheel mower.

Get enough weight behind something and it's amazing what you can do. :D
