Can anyone recommend any ornamental trees that will do well in the northeast that thrive in wet conditions?

Here is a list from my supplier.
Acer rubrum, Amelanchier, Betula nigra, Fraxinus pennsylvanica, Gleditsia triacanthos inermis, Liquidambar styraciflua, Magnolia virginiana, Nyssa sylvatica, Quercus palustris, Salix, Ulmus americana......

Red maple, Shadblow, River Birch, Ash, Thornless Honeylocust, Sweetgum, Sweet Bay Magnolia, Black Tupelo?, Pin Oak, Willow, American Elm...
How did I do?
I would also recommend Red Twig Dogwood, Clethra, Larch, Fothergilla, and Cornelian Cherry. It will take a little more research to see which will do best in our situation.

look at a swamp. What do you see? Black spruce, Red and White Cedars, etc.
