Here is another tip for cleaning leaves from landscape beds.
After trying to blow the bulk of the leaves from the landscape beds into the turf do the final detail clean up with a hand vac.
Then I install this little metal nasty four prong thing under the nut that holds the fan on the crankshaft. This thing shreads the leaves as they are sucked into the machine.
Plus I installed a longer intake tube so I don't have to
bend over as much.
What I do most of the time is NOT install the bagger and direct the bits of leaves right into the lawn.
