View Full Version : Moss - Kill It - Rake It - Leave IT?
Can you kill it, rake it out but leave it on the lawn to decompose?
Any problems with this?

Well you can certainly kill it easily. Iron (ferrous sulfate) is the way to go. I had a hard time finding it quickly enough (LESSco said they didn't carry it any more?.....) so I just went w/"MOSS OUT", which is about 10% iron I think. It's granular, needs a little water and it will kill the moss and turn it BLACK. Rake it up well, I guess you can disperse it a bit to decompose or bag it and toss it. Show some to your customer though, it's impressive.
Then go about fixing the REASON why it's there in the first place.
