Smitty,
you might check out the toro 100 series, 44" deck with a 17 HP kawi. Thats the only one I Know of. And the last I checked it was 4999.00

I am getting a Cub Cadet 44" ZTR with 20HP for $3595 at TSC. Also, the local Cub Cadet dealer has the same prices but TSC has 0 interest, 0 payments til March 2005 so I am buying there. They also have a 48" 22HP model for $3995.

Hey Davis,

What does "TSC" stand for?

Davis,
Do you mean the Tractor Supply Store by any chance?

Well I bought a Simplicity 20hp 50" ,pick it up today. Looks to be real nice. It has a lot of the same stuff as the Ferris which is owned by Simplicity. I looked at several and to me this one was the best for the money. $4495 +tax ,and they have some great financing deals. The best one they don't advertise but my dealer clued me in on it. 1.9% for 60 months. Check them out @

good luck, I'm afraid you'll need it. Consumer reports rates them pretty well as residential, but that's it.
