I was thinking of building a trailer coupler lock along these lines. The part with the small tab would slide over the coupler with the thick tab going through the slot on the other cylinder that would be welded just in front of the coupler. Then a padlock would go through the hole. The padlock would be covered to make it more difficult to cut or knock off with sledge hammer. What do you think?

There are a lot of different ones already available on the market reasonably priced ... so why not just purchase one & spend your time making $$?

Has anybody seen the lock the jacks or wedges itself between the two wheels on a tandem trailer and then you can lock it... then the trailer won't budge.
I say this type of lock and haven't been able to find it again.

Myoder, that type of lock/wedge setup can be bought at any RV trailer place. I have one for the camper from "Camping World". I use it instead of blocks, but it does have a place to lock it.
