I seen the ad for the Hy-Lander ZTR spreader lawn&landscape mag and I was thinking of picking one up. But I want to know if anyone has tried one yet and what do you think

I had a rep. to contact me last week and will fax me more info. on it. I like the idea of tanks being centered on the axle but the booms being in back are a little scary. Also sounds like the pumping-system-valves maybe complicated if some shut off according to ground speed. Some fairly sophisticated electronics involved I'm sure. If I get a demo. I'll leave an update here.

I did demo the Highlander and purchased a full size Z-Spray instead. The Highlander seemed to be an excellent machine and Gregson-Clark knows how to build equipment, but I could not justify the additional 5 grand. This is a big machine for big properties, using it for anything less would be like squirrell hunting with a 50 cal.
