caked on grass?

What do you guys use to get caked on grass off your mowers deck. I cut a few yards with my new lazer a few days ago, and now the grass is just caked on the dicharge chute, and deck, is there a way to get it looking clean as when I got it brand new a few weeks ago??? What do you guys use?

And also, if I use a power washer, can't it take the paint off the deck??? IF NOT CAREFUL???

Try a putty knife, and a power washer. I usually do that and haven't really notice any paint coming off of my Metro.

What I do is take a power washer to the bottom of the deck. And to keep it off for the next time, this may sound weird but after I get the deck clean and dry I spray pam cooking oil on the bottom of it and it seems to work really well! Good luck
