It's Early April hear in a Chicago suburb.. The lawn was beautiful when we moved in 2 years ago , but it turned a little brown and we were told we over-watered and over-fertilized. We aerated and dethatched last week , now the lawn has a cornfield appearance with rows of grass. The last application of fertilizer was winterizer last fall. What do I do next ? Seed ? Crabgrass preventer ? Weed and Feed ? Step 1 of the 4 step program ? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks ,Jack.
