I mowed my Aunts grass and took her car for its semi-weekly run through the country side.

This made my mowing day.

Both exceptional machines. In their own right.

Cool rides!

By the way, are you ever going to answer my question from the hill thread and give me the rundown on your drive tires on the Z?

The Hustler Z will out perform the 1954 Jaguar XK-120 in many ways.

They both corner exceptionally well.

They are both fast.

However...

One mows slopes better.

the tires are from the same manufacturer as the stock Hustler tire, it is after dark now. However, tomorrow, I will get back to you on the information that you requested.

captken have you noticed that one of the rollers on the deck is missing? In the center there is only 1 wheel, it is on the left in the picture and there isnt 1 on the right side of that mount

Beautiful Jag, Captain...:)

I'm a Triumph guy myself, but I can certainly appreciate other fine British marques!

They are Carlisle
Turf Saver
23X3.5-2
2 ply rating

These are the same numbers and manufacturer as the stock tyre.

The tread design is different.

They are not quite as tall as the stock tyre.

The tread is altenating chevrons arranged like the bricks are arranged on a building

The stock tread has a block pattern.

grasscuttinfool You noticed that! Good eye. Lost them mowin' this prop.

Replaced with fresh ones this am.

thanks...

I wondered who else saw that. My buddy was sitting next to me when these pictures where first posted and said, "Is there supposed to be another roller wheel on the front of his deck?"

Actually, yesterday. Jag hasn't seen rain since the 60's.

I rolled the dice, got two done before rain came.

Picked up my mulch trailer today, has been worked on.
