Hope you all come to my hometown! I'll see you all at the event. Maybe all the lawnsite people could get together at the event or something? If you need help getting around Baltimore, I'm open to helping everyone.

I'll be there on the 25th {thurs}. I'm cutting
in the catonsville MD. area I know some of the guys
cutting in my area but don't recognize any of them
here on lawnsite.com. It is easy to talk with
lawn guys who are not competetion!! My area is pretty
good at keeping prices up and start ups come and go
every year. Only us serious lawn KOOKS who love the
job stay with it in BALTIMORE because of the summer
heat.

What kind of stuff can one expect to see at these shows? I'm almost 2 hours away from Timonium (I know because I go to the big reptile show there every year!), but I'd make the drive if it sounds good.

From what I heard, there are gonna be seminars on turf issues. Also, there is gonna be a TONE of equipment to demo. Plus you get to meet and talk with others of the industry.

They also are going to have recertification classes.
For one day it cost about $50.00 bucks. Kinda steep. I hope they have roller coasters.

Hi everyone. First time post here at lawnsite. I've been reading your post for a long time now but had to reply to this one. I'm also about two hours away. Is it worth the trip and Greenfinger: is that FIFTY DOLLARS! pp for the entry or for the seminar???!!! Also, the wife wants to know if there is a mall close by?

One of our best malls is really close less than 10 minutes away, lol.

Vandora and Guntruck: Thanks for the info. I doubt if she'd actually turn me loose and alone with all the toys there. LOL. I'll try to be there by ten. Depending on traffic it's not that bad of drive. Exit 17 off I-83.
I want to look at Exmark and Scag if they're there and generally see whats out there overall. You don't get a chance to see this stuff all in one place out here. I'm looking to buy another Z rider in early March or early next year; this one with a bagger for better fall cleanup etc. Been looking real close at the Exmark 52 and 60" lazer. Just wondering if there is any adverse stress on the spindles when pulling the load of the blower.

Cullen,
Thanks for the update. I don't who I spoke to but I'm glad you checked. Free is good for me.
We should all wear a certain color so we can identify each other. (I know that might sounds corney)
