Here are some pics of the GateStar prototype, it is shown here with the pistol grip version, it will also be available with the preferred H-Bar steering.
It will have a 17 hp Kawasaki and will be a 48" cut floating deck, the deck will flip up to go through a 36" gate with ease.
I have no pricing or additional specs to share right now.
Of course these pics are of a prototype and the final product is subject to some changes.
We have been testing this product and it will be available this fall.

This looks real interesting.
I thought I would be forced into buying a 32" or 34", but this opens all the doors.
I'll be waiting to hear more about this product, as we'll be upgrading to larger mowers this fall for next year!
Innovative, yet is exactly what the industry needs.
Thanks for the peek, keep us informed

why are there 4 blades instead of 3, I was just curious, and will the smaller blades affect the cut.

How is the deck lifted? If manually what is the approximate weight lifted at maximum? Thanks

That is so cool. Very impressive. I still like the Great Dane Gateway 36/52" though. I like the way you can mow with it as a 36" as well as a 52" for uneven ground. Neither offer a floating deck or easy height adjustment. That would be really hard to do on this kind of mower.

Are you sure it will be out this fall. I have heard that line for last few years.
