Has anyone used this product? I cannot decide between fiber edging and steel edging. I am wanting to do a small backyard project using edging. I am worried that if I use steel edging it will rust in a few years. Any suggestions?

Thanks

Give aluminum edging a try.

Aluminum edging tends to heave more around here in the winter time. Part of the reason for it is simple- it doesn't rust.

Steel edging will rust, though for the most part you won't notice it. Once the stakes start to rust, they will "bond" to the soil, and that helps to keep the edging in place during winter heaves. You don't get that with aluminum. It's the same concept that is used with paver edging....

I've never used/seen fiber edging, so I have no idea what it's like.
