After looking at my stats for 2000, I had a record year and I was wondering if you had the same.
I found that I was busier cutting and my best customer had me visit the lawn for mowing 31 times. Same customer 27 times in 99. I know some of you southern guys think this is no big deal but it is for N.E. Wisconsin.
I just want to know where you are (state) and greatest number of cuts at your best customers residence last season. If you want to compare to 99 thats fine too. Thanks.

Central Indiana. Had one account that I cut 33 times. I cut it six times in three different months early this spring. At times I would cut it every four days!!! In 99 i believe i cut it 26 last year. We had a bit of a drought late last year!!!

Here in Pa its about the same as Ohio. 28-32 cuts a year.
This year we had around 28-30 cuts and last year we were down to 20-22 cuts, we were steady mowing all season it only started to slow in the early summer. Thats in CT. Plus we still had people insist on cutting every other week in the summer even though it needed it . Just My two cents

Here in south Texas....35-40 cuts
About 30 cut per year.
Speaking about mowing, I know most of us (who don't use contracts)have had conversations with customers when we think their lawn needs mowed and they don't. I'd be interested in how everyone handles this situation.
thanx.

here in N. Alabama I'm at approx. 40-45 cuts per client. some were not needed, but they are paying so I will cut. onlly two more cuts expected until Feb. All are on year round contracts.
Here in southern IN im still cutting, and fall cleaning, I normally have 33 to 37 per yr. Some of my commercial stuff like Banks and Offices im still cutting twice a month. Last season was very slow 27 to 33 but this season the rain came just at the right times. Spring was every five days for me.

Here in LA, I have most of my yearly on a 30 cut schedule with some on 35 cuts. I never stop just reduce. Next 2 months I'll only go once. New accounts are being told that I will cut anywhere from 27 to 30 depending on the weather conditions...........and still charge the same for the older accounts.

On residential we cut around 18 times a year. Commercial we charge them 20 cuts. We make up with fall cleanups and plowing. Fall cleanups can generate up to 100 cleanups and plowing we charge residential per storm up to 10" then charge them 1.5 cost, commercial we do monthly billing weather it snows or not and average commercial at 12 storms. So thats how we maintain year round income. For you guys with 30plus cuts must be nice I envy you!
