I am looking at a couple mowers for home use:
Country Clipper's Jazee (52") or Simplicity ZTR ZT18H (50")

I mow 4 acres with a lawn tractor (42") in at least 4 hours and get a poor cut. I would like to cut the mowing time in half and get a clean look. Any preferences with either mower? Price is about the same on both.

Go with the Jazee, its a good little mower.

I'll second the JAZee. I demoed the 48" and my 2 acres never looked better (don't know about the Simplicity, but the blade tip speed of the JAZee is right up there at 19,000). Not only did it save almost half my mowing time, but cleanup was a snap with the flip-up deck. The joystick took some getting used to (especially if you've used twinsticks a lot) but it really grows on you!

You need to look no further than the JAZee for the money its the better deal............

Just looked at the Hustler Fastrak today. The price was a little better ($4200) for 52" deck. What do you think - country clipper or hustler??

Jazee. Flip up deck. Built very well. Joy Stick is great. They have a new model out, Jazee 2, 20hp and more, 48" cut and more; a little more money.

I live in Central Illinois, where do I find the Country Clipper? The web site says the nearest is in "N. Mankato, MN". That is a pretty good haul from here. I like what the web site shows except no place to buy. Any help?

I think www.countryclipper.com only shows the regional distributors. Give the distributor a call for your nearest dealer (mine turned out to be practically next door to my rural neighborhood). If that doesn't work, you might also check out the Exmark CT (more established dealer network). Good luck!

When looking on countryclipper.com it linked to a Distributor. When going to the website for that distributor of your area it has a search link for a local dealer.

You might try looking for a dealer that way????

Thanks guys. I just didn't click far enough. There are several within 30 miles of me.
