Hey guys, I bought a 61" hydro 3 wheel rider used (I hate buying used) but Im only 19 and not a millionaire..anyway, here is the problem..I lowered the deck to make the blades cut lower, and I had a really worn belt driving the blades..that is the smaller belt. I bought a new belt and now whenever I start up the mower it continuously makes the blades spin even when the blades are completely disengaged and the belt is completely loose. I have been messing with it for days. Will the belt get worn in and this problem will stop? I was wondering if lowering the deck made the belt hang off of the drive pulley and the lower edge of the belt is now grabbing..Sorry for the long post...I have a tendency to do that! Any information will help.
