I have broken two engine to blade belts on my stander in the past week. I have noticed that the carrier pulley, the one that puts tension on the belt appears to be bent and tilted. If someone knows if that could be why the belt is breaking or any other reason it would be a great help. Thanks.

I would say most likely that is the problem. Replace it. Does the belt brake in two or burn in two? If the carrier pulley(a.k.a. ilder pulley) sticks it will burn a belt in no time flat. Also check the blade spindles to make sure they turn free.

The belt breaks in two so I'm guessing that it is catching on the pulleys edge, the blade spindles are fine, they spin freely and are greased often. Thanks for the advice.
