I have to replace the idler arm bearings on the deck and drivetrain at least once a year on my Scag Turf Tiger. They are sealed bearings and the movement is obviously limited, so the bearings wear in one spot. I may ask the local bearing company if they have any better bearings than what my shop is getting. Any ideas on how to make them greasable?

Drill, tap, install greese nipple.

are they bearings...or are they bushings?
mister stone is right, they should have "greese" fittings.;

Whats good for the greese is good for the gander.

There is no grease fitting because the bearings are sealed- 2 per arm. Would a grease fitting work with sealed bearings? Or should I pop the seal off the bearings?
