noise in hydros

99 Lazer hp 375 hours
There is noise coming from the hydros. Not the belt slipping sound or the general whin of operation. It has been run for two months since changing the fluid and the level is correct.
Pump going out? If so how do I repair? Does the entire pump and wheel motor system need to replaced? or can something be done to reduce the noise?

Is the sound coming from both hydros? If so I would look at the belt and spring loaded idler.

From the description you gave I really can't determine what may be going on. My advice would be to have the dealer inspect your unit to determine if there is a problem. Also give me a call at 1-800-667-5296. We may be able to figure this one out over the phone better than we can via e-mail or LS.

Thanks for the hints. Simple fix! The belt was damaged.
I did'nt look at it close enough before.
