help choosing a mower for 3/4 acre

I have been looking for a simple machine for a flat 3/4 acre lot that will give me a nice cut at a reasonable price (preferably not far north of $2,000). Dealer support is important as i lack any mechanical skills to fix it myself.

Look for a good used walk-behind.
There's really not much on them to tinker with, you might be surprised how fast you'll turn into an 'expert mower tuner'.
