Toro lawn tractor (44HXL). I attempted to remove rear wheels. The fist one came off ok, the other was stubborn. Tried driving it off by pounding on the inside of the wheel. The axle started coming out of the transmission, so I shoved it back in. Now the axle won't stay in (starts working its way out when riding). Checked the TORO online parts view. Didn’t give enough detail to determine how the axle is held in the tranny. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
