Shindaiwa Chain Saw Starves for gas

I have a Shindaiwa chain saw (older model 345) that starves for gas when it is turned with the exhaust side down. It runs fine with exhaust side up or level and it has full tank of gas. Any ideas as to the problem????

check gas line and filter in the tank maybe it is to short or hard or stuck to the wall of the tank

I'll check it. It was working fine and while I was using it the problem started.
