starter switch change???

On/Off switch?
Does anyone know if this is possible.? I have a Sears riding mower that is used for home only. Can I replace the key switch/start switch with a toggle switch? Will it hurt my starter if this happens? It does have electric start.

no a toggle switch usually only has open,close contacts. you would have to use several switches run-off,starter on-starter off,lights on-off,ect. charging system safety switches would be another problem
