Hi Guys!
I'd like recommendations on a new, medium sized tractor.
I'm a carpenter who's building my own house. I have seven acres, two wooded, four flat and two hillside at app. 30 deg. angle (grassy). My lot is located at the end of a 1/4 mi. gravel/shale right of way.
I'll need a front end loader, brush hog and/or mowing deck(monthly), York rake(grading & r.o.w. repair), post hole digger(split rail fence), plow(2-3 30x100 gardens), sickle bar, wagon and possibly back hoe & snowblower.
I know I could probably rent some of those items.
I'm looking to spend $20-$25K.
I currently do a lot of hauling/snowplowing with my '03 Dodge and it's getting trashed. I'm thinking of getting out of snow plowing alltogether due to liability (and other) issues.
I'm sure you have a lot of opinions on manufacturers. I'd like to narrow it down to size & HP first.

Thanks,
John

Looks like I need a "compact" tractor (under 50 hp). Sorry but I havn't used one since I worked on farms as a teenager.

look at a Kubota MX 5000 4x4
you should be able to buy a naked
tractor for $17,500 - $18,100 new
