Looking to get some equipment over the winter
I'm just starting out this spring and was wondering
if any of you use the split boom trimmers and attachments
or are straight shafts the way to go
Thanks for any info

Shindaiwa T-270 straight shaft WITHOUT the debris guard .. Green Machine handle (not the new funky ones) and larger Green Machine style head (not the little dinky one) ... THAT'S the way to go.

I use Shindaiwa straight shaft trimmers. I also have a Stihl FS-85 trimmer with a power scythe attachment and a hedge trimmer attachment(real handy).

if everyone used the search there would be no new posts, LS has said enough to fill many books and rarely is anything new said, other than GUIDO with a metal chair, everyone needs to start somewhere!
